About the Institute

By the decision of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of March 16, 2021 № 316 "On reorganization of educational institutions" the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine was reorganized by joining Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

On March 22, 2021, an extraordinary meeting of the Academic Council of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv decided to establish the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which included the reorganized National Academy and the Department of Public Administration from the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

One of the main tasks of the newly established Institute was to preserve the educational and scientific potential, experience of the National Academy, increase the effectiveness of educational and scientific activities in the field of training and retraining of civil servants and local government officials.

In its activities, the Institute continues the tradition and implements innovative approaches to the training of senior managers for government agencies and businesses.
