PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING OF SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL STAFF BEGAN IN THE EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND CIVIL SERVICE

On August 15, 2022, a week-long English speaking training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the IPACS started. The training is on actual issues of national and global security: CBRN, export control of dual-use goods and technologies, organized jointly with Dr. Jean Pascal ZANDERS, international expert on CBRN, Doctor of Political Sciences, Head of The Trench (Belgium), with the support of UNTC (Ukrainian Science and Technology Center) and the European Commission, which was presented by Maria ESPONA with a welcome speech.

The training will take place in a distance format from August 15 to 19, 2022.

Viktoriya GURA, Deputy Director for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of IPACS, also addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech, thanked to Dr. Jean Pascal for his desire and time to share his experience on current security issues, namely the essence of CBRN goods and technologies, as well as features of export control in today's extremely difficult geopolitical space.

Dr. Jean Pascal ZANDERS, in turn, thanked all the teachers of our Institute, who will study in his course of lectures, for their courage to study and grow professionally during wartime.

The new knowledge and skills that the course participants will acquire during training will undoubtedly improve their qualifications and will be used in the Institute's bachelor's and master's educational programs.
