MEMORANDUM OF MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN TARAS SHEVCHENKO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF KYIV AND THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR EUROPEAN TRAINING (CIFE) WAS SIGNED

On the initiative of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service, on June 28, 2022, when we celebrate Constitution Day, an online signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the International Center for European Training (CIFE, French Republic) took place.

The signatories were the Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Volodymyr BUGROV and the President of the International Center for European Training Herman VAN ROMPUY.

Volodymyr BUGROV made a welcome speech, noting that this event is significant for Ukraine, the Republic of France and the European Union in light of the historic decision of the EU summit to grant Ukraine candidate status.

The cooperation of both institutions involves the implementation of joint research programs in the field of public management and administration, exchange programs for professors and teaching staff, scientists, postgraduates, doctoral students and students for study and research work; participation in conferences, symposiums and seminars.

Establishing cooperation within the framework of European Union programs is an important issue, because one of the main tasks of the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service is to increase the effectiveness of educational and scientific activities in the field of training and professional development of civil servants and local self-government officials.
