THE FIRST LECTURE OF THE COURSE SERIES "MODERN CHALLENGES OF NATIONAL AND GLOBAL SECURITY" On April 12, 2023, a series of lectures on topical issues of national and global security began at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the support of the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU) and the European Commission: the CBRN, export control of goods and technologies of dual use, which will be conducted by well-known international experts for full-time and part-time students of the "Master's" EP "Strategic management in the field of national security". Lectures will be held in remote format every Wednesday from April 12 to May 3, 2023. Students will have the opportunity to listen to lectures in English by international experts on the following topics: 1. "Responsible behavior of business and public officials regarding the export of dual-use goods and technologies." 2. "Problems of control over the transfer of dual-use goods and technologies." 3. "Trade control and sanctions: new issues in strategic trade regimes." 4. "How will goods and technologies of CBRN be controlled? What's new?" Today, the professor of the British University from the city of Bath (the University of Bath) Brett Edwards presented many interesting cases of violations of the responsible behavior of business and public officials regarding the export of dual-use goods and technologies. Together with the students, they discussed world trade regimes, as well as discussed Ukrainian realities in the conditions of martial law.
