INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "GLOBALIZATION CHALLENGES: GOVERNANCE OF THE FUTURE"


On April 26, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Globalization Challenges: Governance of the Future" started at the Institute. This year, more than 150 participants joined the conference.

The following addressed the participants of the conference with welcoming words: Volodymyr ILCHENKO – the First Vice-Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Oleksandr KORNIIENKO – First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Liubov SHPAK – People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences; Taras KACHKA – Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, trade representative of Ukraine; Hennadii VATSAK – People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Andrii SHAPOVALOV – Acting Head of the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine; Volodymyr LUHOVYI – the first Vice-President of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine; Lesia VAOLEVSKA – Head of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor; Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine; Yevhenii BORODIN – Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration of the National Technical University "Dniprovska Polytechnic", Doctor of Public Administration, Professor; Liubomyr PYLYPENKO – Director of the Institute of Administration, Public Administration and Professional Development of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, Doctor of Economics, Professor; Mykola IZHA – Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Service and Administration of the National University "Odesa Polytechnic", Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor.

During the first day of the conference, the work of the round table "Public administration in times of change" took place, which was attended by foreign partners: Dr. John CALLAHAN – Associate Professor of Political Science and Dean of the Graduate School, New England College; Ion DULSCHI – Associate Professor of the State University of Moldova, Candidate of Historical Sciences; Krassen STANCHEV – member of the board of directors of the CASE Center for Social and Economic Research (Warsaw), professor of the Department of Public Administration of Sofia University, Bulgaria and other guests who, in their reports, showed significant interest in the problems of the social, political, economic and cultural life of Ukraine in the situation of resistance to aggression, finding resources for victory and post-war reconstruction. On April 27, the conference continued its work in the format of sectional meetings.
