OPEN DOOR DAY AT IPACS


On November 19, 2022, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service hospitably welcomed future entrants at the Open Door Day in offline/online format.

The guests had the opportunity to talk with the Institute's management, to get information about the features of admission to educational programs of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) educational levels, as well as about the organization of the educational process in conditions of full-scale war from any part of Ukraine and the world.

Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service, Larysa KOMAKHA, made a welcome speech. Viktoriya GURA, Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, spoke about the peculiarities of admission to the Institute for bachelor's and master's programs. Also presented a new cycle of trainings-lectures-seminars of the Academy of Young Managers.

The heads and representatives of the Institute's departments presented the educational programs of the Institute, noting the peculiarities of training and unique opportunities:

EP "Bachelor":

• "Governance in the public sphere",

• "Governance in the field of national security".

EP "Master":

• "Public management and administration",

• "Civil Service",

• "Parliamentarism and parliamentary activities",

• "Local Self-Government",

• "National Security Strategic Management ",

• "Information security management".

Training under these educational programs will form a new generation of managers-leaders who are able to work on the principles of partnership and open governance, model and make management decisions in difficult conditions.

It is important to note that the training of the students of the Institute takes place through a combination of theory and practice, conducting classes based on the Central executive bodies, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, local self-government bodies, leading state corporations and international organizations.

The second part of the Open Door Day program gathered future applicants, as well as students, teachers and graduate students of the Institute for a discussion on the topic: "European integration: Ukraine's path to the EU. The main insights", which was held by Viktoriia LOBUN, adviser to the Vice-Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
