The Institute (DRIPA) was established in 1993. It serves Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts.
The course of studies for both categories of students covers three specializations: Public Administration, Project Management and Organizational Management. Courses are available in full-time and part-time (off-site and evening) formats.
Today, this higher educational institution prepares qualified professionals at the Bachelor's, Specialist's, Master's, thesis defense and PhD levels. It also engages in professional development, academic research, and publishing activities.
The institute has prepared 3499 Masters in Public Administration for 20 years.

The Institute works closely with state administrations and local government bodies in the eight western oblasts of Ukraine: Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskiy, L'viv, Rivne, Ternopil, and Volyn, and Zakarpattia.
The Institute conducts its activities in three areas:
- University education in sphere of Public Administration and Economics;
- In-service training and Professional Development for public and municipal servants;
- Research and publishing activities in the field of public administration and economics; post-graduate and post-doctoral studies.
Since 1995, when the Institute was founded, more than 2800 Masters of Public Administration, 300 Masters of Project Management and over 900 specialists in sphere of Organizational Management and Managing Human resources graduated from the Institute. The In-service training and Professional Development Faculty, which uses contemporary methods, forms and teaching tools has helped over 30000 public and municipal servants to improve their professional qualifications.

The Institute works with government offices and local governments in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, in Kherson, Mykolayiv, Odessa and Vinnytsia Oblasts, and in the City of Sevastopol, training Masters of Public Administration for them. It was founded in 1995.
The Institute prepares professionals with post-secondary qualifications in three areas: management, public administration and project management.
In 1998, the Institute became the first in southern Ukraine to train administrators under the Master of Public Administration program with a specialization in Healthcare Administration.
In 2014, the Odessa Regional Institute had 1050 registered students in its Master of Public Administration program.

Today, the Institute is a modern education and research complex that is unmatched for size and specialization in Eastern Ukraine. The Institute continues to evolve intensively, improving and expanding its system of educational, research and methodological services and gaining greater and greater recognition among the general public in this region.
Since 1995, when the Institute was founded, more than 5,000 Masters of Public Administration and over 2,000 managers have graduated in two main specializations related to public administration: Organizational Management and Managing Human Resources and Economic Activity. The Retraining and Professional Development Faculty, which uses contemporary methods, forms and learning tools has helped over 45,000 civil servants from the four northeastern oblasts of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea improve their professional qualifications.
In 2014, the Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration had 1,241 registered students in its Master of Public Administration program. | SHARE
